Hobby means one’s favorite occupation but not one’s main business. A man doesn’t depend on it for his living, but it is not less important at all. It helps one to live happily.
There are many kinds of hobby such as gardening, drawing picture, painting, fishing etc. I’m a student of class 8. I also have a hobby. It is gardening. It is a flower garden. My garden is in front of my reading room. I have planted many kinds of flowers. I work there during my leisure time. Sometimes I water them. There is a strong fence around my garden. This is why the naughty boys & animals can’t do any harm to my flower plants.
I like gardening because it is very useful for body & mind. Working in the garden is a sort of physical exercise. It strengths my body & refreshes my mind. I get great pleasures when I see the blooming flowers in my garden. I also get pleasure when the sweet smelling of roses flows to my reading room. Besides flowers, I grow some vegetables in my garden. This saves a lot of expenses of my family.
To make life delightful everybody should have hobby. But we should be careful that our main work be not hampered by hobby.
